Dr. Kenneth Perry
Chief Executive Officer
Dr. Kenneth R. Perry is an accomplished inventor and educator with a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University. He is a co-inventor of the Pulse Oximeter and inventor of the Adaptive Echo Canceller for modems, significantly advancing communication technology. Dr. Perry has also designed circuits for NASA, Motorola, and the military, and served as a Computer Science Department chair.

With a Doctor of Education in Cooperative Superintendency from The University of Texas at Austin, Jackson has dedicated his career to promoting high academic and moral standards. He has served as a Principal, Assistant Principal, and Virtual School Consultant in Houston ISD, earning numerous accolades for his leadership and commitment to student success.
Woodrow Wilson, III
Chief Operations Officer
woody@clearlightcodeacademy.comWoodrow Wilson is the Chief Operations Officer (COO) of Clearlight Code Academy (CCA), a software development and design firm specializing in no-code computer application development. He is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the day-to-day business operations of the company. Prior to CCA, Woody spent 30 years in Information Technology with Lockheed Martin Corp (LM), with his final role as Senior Manager for the Aeronautics IT Applications organization. Woody graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy with a Bachelor of Science degree in Operations Research and holds a Master of Science degree in Systems Engineering from George Mason University.
Zaire Ali
Chief Engineer / Primary Instructor
zaire@clearlightcodeacademy.comZaire Ali is a Senior Cloud Infrastructure and MLOps Engineer with over 10 years of experience architecting and shipping production systems at scale. He has designed secure, fault-tolerant platforms on AWS using Terraform, Python, Kubernetes, and Docker, and built the CI/CD and machine learning pipelines that move large data workloads reliably into production. Across his career he has led infrastructure for data-intensive applications, hardened systems for compliance, and mentored engineers from first commit to production ownership. As Chief Engineer and Primary Instructor, he translates that real-world engineering practice directly into the classroom, teaching students the exact cloud, automation, and AI workflows the industry uses today.
